Thanks to this tool and our extension, learners can quickly turn into timely providers of their own skills by giving coaching sessions in exchange of reusable credits. To achieve this, we extended Graaasp, an Opensocial-based container that allows users to organize their collaborative work through web spaces and supports context-aware recommendations. Our focus was to keep the entry barrier to using the system as low as possible and to stick to the context of usage through the recommandation features of an already existing social media platform.

The main idea covered in this paper is to integrate lightweight competence management features within a collaborative social media platform. I plan to pay the shareware fee in hopes the developer will really rethink the functionality of this application. This paper discusses our approach to competence development where learners can have on-demand access to competences by taking part in a currency-free competence exchange scheme.

MYC has to completely download each web page for each comic on relaunch (unless the comic has been added to their internal archive folders).

This is great if I am on travel and away for my Mac for a few days - all my funnies will be waiting when I get home. CT can be automated with a simple AppleScript to launch each morning, collect my comics and quit.

MYC has SmartFolders but I cannot see how to group comics based on days they are updated.ĥ - last thing I'll mention relates back to #1. This makes it so I don't have to click on a Sunday comic during the weekdays as it is in its own separate group in the comic listing. The best example is comics that are only Sunday. No such feature in MYC.Ĥ - CT allows me to GROUP comics.

I don't see any ZOOM in MYC.ģ - CT allows for downloading archive - provide a start date and it will collect them in one swoop. Seems to me I could bookmark all my comics in Safari and "Open All In Tabs" and a) they would all be ready to read and b) would not cost me $9.Ģ - CT allows each comic to have its own ZOOM - some are best viewed at 100%, some at 150%. Worse it MYC does not scrape the web site and display only the comic - it shows the entire web page. M圜omics - downloads them as I click on them meaning I have to wait 10 seconds or so for each new comic! ugh. I use the discontinued ComicTastic and LOVE IT even though it has not been supported for 4 or 5 years.ġ - CT will download ALL my comics in one swoop - takes a few minutes but when I am ready to look at them they are there for instant display. (Note: this review will be similar to my review of FunnyPages for the same reasons).
